Event Coordinator 2025 – Present

I am very proud to return in the fall as the Event Coordinator for our AWSM chapter. Within this role, I help plan and coordinate meetings, fundraising initiatives, special events including AWSM Week, and campus tabling efforts throughout the academic year. I actively connect with professionals to secure guest speakers who can provide valuable insights and networking opportunities for our members. Additionally, I communicate with athletes, coaches, and interested students across campus to promote our organization and increase engagement.

This past fall, I helped pitch and organize one of our most successful fundraising campaigns. During Susquehanna University’s Homecoming football game, our chapter hosted a Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser, selling limited-edition pink AWSM shirts and bracelets while raffling off a football signed by NFL player, Travis Kelce. Thanks to the support of the community, we raised and donated $200 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, while also increasing visibility for our AWSM chapter.

AWSM Convention 2026 – LA, California

I was incredibly grateful to attend the 2026 AWSM Convention in Los Angeles with my fellow AWSM member, Brai. Throughout the convention, I had the opportunity to learn from and connect with professionals from organizations including Major League Baseball (MLB), Los Angeles Times, ESPN, The Athletic, and many others across the sports industry.

I also had the opportunity to attend the Los Angeles Dodgers vs Kansas City Royals game and The Sparks vs. Valkyries game, making the experience even more memorable.

Thank you to the AWSM Board and Iliana Limón Romero for organizing such a special event! I look forward to attending more AWSM conventions in the future.
I’m excited to continue serving as the Event Coordinator for Susquehanna University’s AWSM chapter and bring what I learned back to our campus!
