T102 Radio
Side Line Reporting
August 2024 – Present
This past fall, I worked as the side line reporter for T-102 Radio in Pottsville, PA. I covered Pottsville Area High School’s home and away games, while balancing academic courses, clubs, and a collegiate sport. I traveled weekly, committed to delivering timely insight on the teams performance. I gained valuable experience conducting post game interviews with coaches and players, delivered weather and injury reports, and presented statistics, game outlooks, and in-depth pregame research for listeners. This opportunity working with Pottsville and other local teams allowed me to develop my on air communication skills, build confidence, and gain first-hand experience in a professional broadcasting environment.
Softball Reporting
May 2025 – Present
As a softball reporter for T-102, I traveled to various high school softball games throughout the spring season, covering competition from the district playoffs through the PIAA 3A State Championship at Penn State University. In this role, I delivered in-depth reporting providing a collegiate athlete perspective to the broadcast. I worked with the crew to deliver game analysis, timely coverage, and important updates to connect with listeners at home and in the stands. This spring, I was invited back to work as the color coordinator for games across the region. This opportunity allows me to pursue my passion for broadcasting through a sport that I have loved to play and watch my entire life.
Campus Involvement
Outside of T102 Radio, I have gained experience using professional broadcasting equipment including Zetta and Adobe Audition through my classes at Susquehanna University. This past semester, my final project consisted of creating two 30 second advertisements and one 60 second advertisement. I created my own company, chose the music, sound effects, descriptions, and had multiple students help me record to keep the advertisements consistent and fun. I created “The Sprinkle Spot”, an exciting ice cream shop located in Selinsgrove, PA.
