Professional Broadcasting Experience

T102 Radio

Side Line Reporter – T102/WPPA Radio

August 2025 – Present

I am working as a sideline reporter for high school football through T102 Radio in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. In this position, I join the “Tide Line” broadcasting crew to cover each of Pottsville Area High School’s football games throughout the season. Within the fall months, I travel to both home and away games while balancing coursework, campus involvement, and collegiate softball. Each week, I travel directly from my classes to games, providing timely updates and insights throughout each of our broadcasts. I’ve gained valuable experience conducting postgame interviews with coaches and players, delivering weather and injury reports, and sharing statistics, game outlooks, and pre-game research with listeners. This opportunity has granted me hands-on experience in a live broadcasting environment while helping to strengthen my on-air communication, time management skills, and grow my confidence in a professional sports setting.

Softball Reporting

May 2025 – Present

Throughout the spring season, I travel to local high school softball games with T102 Radio, covering matchups from district playoffs all the way to the PIAA 3A State Championship at Penn State University. During broadcasts, I provide game coverage, analysis, and updates while providing the perspective of a current collegiate softball player. I work alongside the broadcast crew to inform listeners, whether they’re tuning in from home or following along at the field. This experience has allowed me to combine my passion for broadcasting with a sport I’ve loved playing my entire life.

Campus Involvement

Through my coursework at Susquehanna University, I have gained hands-on experience using professional broadcasting equipment and industry-standard software, including Zetta and Adobe platforms. In my Audio Production course in the Spring 2026, for my final project I created a fictional company and produced two 30-second radio advertisements and one 60-second advertisement.

In this assignment, I explored every stage of the production process, including writing the scripts, selecting music and sound effects, while also directing fellow students during voiceover recordings. I edited the final advertisements, maintaining a consistent tone, sound, and brand identity. My fictional company, The Sprinkle Spot, was a fun, ice cream shop located in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania, and each advertisement reflected its energetic and welcoming atmosphere.

In addition to the commercial campaign, I produced a concert advertisement within my coursework featuring iconic hits from musical artist Billy Joel. By seamlessly blending music with detailed narration, I created a promotional work that delivered a clear message to entice listeners’ and generate interest for the event.
